1964-68 Mustang Modified Tri-Y Headers (Black painted)
*These Tri-Y Headers resemble traditional Tri-Yメs in appearance, with subtle changes to enhance fit and performance. Tubes are CNC mandrel bent, then carefully installed in our precision engineered welding jig for a perfect fit. These Headers include extra thick 3/8 inch flanges to prevent warping and are precision ground. The flange gaskets are made of metal composite, 1 ᄑ inch Primaries, 1 ᄒ inch Secondaryメs and 2 1/2 inch Collectors. Each set includes Reducer Cones which taper to 2 inches with gaskets and all necessary mounting hardware. Note: Power Steering cars require a Drop Down Bracket available under part # DBPP-10961-A. Be aware that 1964-65 V8 Engine Mounts sit in the engine approximately 1/4ヤ lower than the 1966 and up mounts. Although unlikely, it may be required to shim your engine up for shock tower clearance which can be done simply with some washers. Some Early Cars have been retrofitted with 1969 and newer 302 Automatics which have a bigger bell housing than original and may have a clearance issue. Minor dimpling of the Header or minimal filing of bell housing may be required.
