This extension cable enables you to mount the radio body of any RetroSound radio as much as nine feet from the radio face and the two radio shafts. This is very useful in custom installations, or in situations in which there is not sufficient room behind the dash for the radio body. For example, after-market air conditioning often adds ducting that would interfere with the radio body. With this extension cable you can mount the radio body almost anywhere.
