Select components and major parts exclusive to Dynacorn are now going to be offered coated with a weld-through primer. Prep time is reduced when welding new parts to new parts that are both coated with the formula.

Other advantages include reduced spatter, lower distortion of panels, superior conductive properties that help minimize high heat zone problems, and the elimination of corrosion that would form between overlapped panels or multi-layered spot welds.

The process used to apply the weld-thru primer will also help when welding a new panel to old metal. Lower resistance at the weld surface allows better penetration into the denser, new steel that helps forgive an old alloyﾒs problems with porosity and impurities. The process also helps to prevent any resin build up between welds that can trap moisture in the old, porous steel that leads to failure at the weld borders (patch panels on uni-body floors and torque boxes are a prime example of this problem) and eliminates that rework, according to Dynacorn.
